What Time Is It?

Published by Cinde Lucas at 9:36 pm under Journal Updates

The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 3 that there is a TIME for EVERYTHING. God is not the author of confusion. He does everything in a timely manor.  Genesis 8 says that as long as the earth remains there will be seed, TIME, and harvest. Many places throughout the Bible refer to the FULLNESS of time; in the fullness of time God sent forth His son to redeem mankind (Galatians 4:4). Jesus ‘birth was not an accident; it was timely. He was born at a specific time and He will return a specific time.

God doesn’t want us to be ignorant of the times and seasons. There is a time to plant and a time to reap, but if you don’t know which is which, you are likely to miss the right timing. A good thing for each of us to do is to pray for the Spirit to quicken us to know the times and seasons so that we can stay in step with what the Lord’s purposes, plans and timing for us are. He will lead and guide us into all truth. If we will ask Him, He will tell us exactly what time it is!

    Cindi,

I particularly like this verse, I know that there is a time and a season, I am going
through a divorce and have rededicated my life to the precious Lord, Jesus, I was
married 20 years and I know if I had been the christian woman I should of been
I know that God would of handle this event differently, but here I am and Starving
for the word of God I have read many Beth Moore’s books and been to her conventions , I read your books and your website every day, I know that my Lord
will lead me and guide me through this he has for the past 7 months, but today
I saw my husband for the first time in many months and he is clean and talks as if
he has changed, but he has yet to darken the door step of a church or even speak of God , He says he prays every night that God will bring me back to him. That we are soul mates, Cindi I am a 45 year old mother of 3 wonderful children two who are married and one in college, I am so on guard of satan that I have talked with
God today and told him my thoughts and concerns about this , I will not let satan use Richard , ( my still husband) to lure me back into the sinful life he was living, I am on guard, I have asked God to show me today what to do and to guide me and lead me through this and to tell satan to get behind me, I realize know that Richard was my addiction and in the last 7 months i have changed and it is for the better and I am not and will Not give up my new life and my
Relationship with my Lord for that. Please pray for me . I pray to God every day
and every time i pray that he will touch Richards heart and let the seed grow and I talked with RIchard today about God and the pure love and peace he can
Bring, I am so confused, BUt i Know that my Lord and Savior will see me through
Just remember me if you please in your prayers.

    Thank you
May God bless you and your ministries, I so do love reading and hearing about your family and life

You are right to guard yourself. Forgiving someone doesn’t mean you have to be in relationship with them. There may come a time when you can be together, but it sounds like BOTH of you need alot of healing. And by the way, YOU tell the devil to get behind. God has given YOU authority over the enemy, so when you know it’s him YOU tell him to get back in Jesus NAME!!!
